Abstracts and Schedules - The Personal Agenda Builder

The SAS Global Forum experience represents an unparalleled opportunity for acquiring and honing SAS skills through 2.5 days of conference presentations, as well as pre-conference activities, including Seminars, Statistical Tutorials, and SAS-sponsored classes. With hundreds of papers, presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and more, planning your time is the only way to ensure you get the most out of what this conference has to offer.

To help maximize your time and opportunities, the application will allow you to filter your search by any combination of day, company, industry, paper type, section, skill level, and speaker, as well as search for keywords.

Searching Or Building A Temporary Agenda

Even without being registered for the conference, you may browse through the paper schedule and read the abstracts. To view an abstract, simply click on the paper title.

In order to choose a presentation or event for inclusion in your agenda, you must:

  • Use the "Presentations" tab to navigate through the various events
  • Mark the box in the left column for each event desired.
  • Click "Add to Agenda".

TIP: Click on "Print Agenda" to see all the abstracts of the items selected.

Building A Retrievable Personal Agenda

If you are already registered for the conference, creating an Attendee Profile will allow you to use this tool to develop and save your Personal Agenda. You will then be able to access your Personal Agenda from any Web browser.

First Time Users

Easy steps to follow:

  • Only registered SAS Global Forum 2012 attendees get an account on this system. Once you receive your confirmation email, it will take approximately 24 hours for an account to be established for you. Until the account is established, you will not be able to access the system or create a profile. Please be patient.
  • Have your Confirmation Number handy. It was included in your original confirmation email from the SAS Global Forum Registrar.
  • To begin, click on "Log In" below.
  • This will take you to the Agenda Builder Welcome page. Please note that the question about already having a Login ID and Password refers to one for the Agenda Builder only. This Login ID and Password is separate from any you may have created to submit a paper or even to register for the conference. Passwords may NOT contain special characters.
  • Click on First Time User.
  • You will be asked for your Confirmation Number and Last Name.
  • Once the system recognizes you, you will be given the opportunity to create a Login ID and Password of your choosing. Use that Login ID and Password from then on. NOTE: Passwords may NOT contain special characters.
  • Proceed to the "Presentations" tab.

Subsequent Use

  • From the Agenda Builder Welcome page, click on Returning User.
  • This will bring you to the Agenda Builder Login page. Enter your Login ID and Password in item 2 and click on the arrow in the circle.

Selecting An Agenda Item

In order to choose a presentation or event for inclusion in your agenda, you must:

  • Be logged in
  • Use the "Presentations" tab to navigate through the various events
  • Mark the box in the Add column for each event desired.

Viewing/Editing Your Personal Agenda

Under the "Personal Agenda" tab, you will see your selections as well as some pre-scheduled items that appear for all conference attendees. You may deselect any item you added, as well as create and schedule a Personal Event such as "Visit Demo Area" or "Meet John for lunch". Using the Print Agenda feature on the left will expand your agenda to include any description or abstract for each item.

Please Note:
Your Personal Agenda is automatically saved and is available to you any time you log in after you set up an Attendee Profile.

Building your agenda does not reserve you seat in a paper presentation. However, note that signing up for a SAS Interacts topic in Agenda Builder DOES reserve a seat at this roundtable experience.

Forgot your Agenda Builder Login ID? Use the Password Lookup feature to have it sent to you.
