Getting from the Airport
The Las Vegas McCarran International Airport is about 4 miles from the Conference Hotels.
A variety of options exist for getting from McCarron International Airport to strip hotels.
LAS VEGAS MCCARRON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT SHUTTLE SERVICES
A variety of shuttle/limousine services are available at McCarron and are located on the west side of baggage claim, outside door exits 7 - 13. Shuttle prices are per person and subject to change without notice.For details, click here
TAXICABS
Taxicabs are available on the east side of baggage claim, outside door exits 1-4. Airport personnel are available on the taxi curb to assist passengers. Taxicabs are also available at the McCarran Rent-A-Car Center. Please note that some taxis will not accept credit card payments. Please notify the attendant if you are planning to use a credit card for payment. Fares generally run $12 - $15 one way between the airport and the Conference Hotels.RENTAL CARS
Avis, the official car rental supplier for SAS Global Forum, is offering discounted group rates. To book your reservations, call 800-331-1600 (toll free in the US only). Use the Avis World Discount (AWD) Number A132699 or access the Avis Web site at www.avis.com. Dedicated McCarran Rent-A-Car Center shuttles depart approximately every five minutes to the new McCarran Rent-A-Car Center. Rental car counters are no longer located in Baggage Claim.- Terminal 1:
- Follow signs to Ground Transportation from Baggage Claim on Level 1. Proceed to the Rental Car Shuttle located at the center median outside doors 10 and 11. Rental car counters are located in the baggage claim area. Some provide pick-up and drop-off from the first floor of the garage. Other rental car companies provide courtesy van service to the airport.
- Terminal 2:
- Follow signs to Baggage Claim. Exit the sliding glass doors and proceed across the roadway to the Rental Car Shuttle located at the median.
Getting Around Town
PUBLIC BUS SERVICE
Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada operates the Citizens
Area Transit (CAT) bus system. CAT has multiple routes throughout the Las
Vegas Valley and Henderson. The Strip route features a double-decker bus
nicknamed The Deuce and run 24 hours a day, seven days a week. For The

LAS VEGAS MONORAIL
The Las Vegas monorail runs from the MGM Grand Hotel to Sahara Ave. The Las
Vegas Monorail operates 7 days a week from 7:00am to 2:00am Monday - Thursday
and until 3:00am Friday - Sunday. The approximate time to ride from one end
of the 4 mile long Las Vegas strip is around 14 to 16 minutes. Tickets can be
purchased at vending machines located inside each station and at station hotel
properties.
