Networking Opportunities

Reception for Academic Attendees

Monday, April 4, 2-4 p.m.

Academic attendees are invited to enjoy light refreshments and great conversation in Neopolitan III. Academic faculty and staff are invited to attend and share career experiences with students and junior faculty. Students are invited to attend and learn about different career paths. We want to also learn how we can engage more students, junior faculty and staff at SAS Global Forum each year.

Opening Night Dinner*

Monday, April 4, 5:15-6:30 p.m.

Immediately before the Opening Session, meet your fellow conference attendees over dinner. The $55 fee includes the cost of dinner. Discount packages are available; see the Fees & Packages for details. *(This event is included in packages 2 & 3)

Get Acquainted Reception

Monday, April 4, 8:30-11 p.m.

Immediately after the Opening Session, come to the Get Acquainted Reception to network with other attendees.

Networking Lunch

Tuesday, April 5, Noon*

Reception for International Attendees

The SAS Global Forum 2011 Conference Team invites you to join them for light refreshments and great conversation on Tuesday, April 5, from 4-5:30 pm at Caesars Palace, Neopolitan III. We want to hear from attendees about ways to engage international attendees.

Mixer hosted by SAS Customer Loyalty

Tuesday, April 5, 6-7:30 p.m.

SAS serves as your host for this Tuesday evening mixer in the SAS Support and Demo Area where we will celebrate SAS users. Mingle and relax with other conference attendees and enjoy some great food, drinks and fun entertainment.

Meetups (formerly known as BOFs)

Tuesday, April 5, 6-8 p.m.
Wednesday, April 6, 6-8 p.m.

Be sure to check out these informal discussions where you meet with other users and SAS staff to discuss topics of mutual interest. For the first time this year, Meetups will be held both on-site in the Convention Center and off-site in local restaurants.

Sign-up sheets for those interested in participating in Meetups are provided in the pre-function area outside conference registration at the entrance to the Octavius Ballroom. You can sign up on-site for any of the Meetups that are already scheduled, or, you can create your own Meetup and invite others to participate with you!

Kick Back Party at PURE Nightclub

Plan on relaxing and having fun while you enjoy drinks and a night of dancing at the world-renowned PURE nightclub at Caesars Palace. PURE is located next to the Sportsbook inside Caesars Palace, and combines the allure of the red carpet with the sounds of the hottest DJs in Las Vegas.

Please note - must be at least 21 years of age for admission to PURE. Along with conference badge, specific credentials are required for all attendees: U.S. and Canadian residents must provide a valid Driver's License; all other attendees must provide an original Passport (no copies). Credential requirements are non-negotiable due to local laws and regulations.
