The Power to Present: SAS® Global Forum Presenter Mentoring Program
Program Overview
As we continue to expand SAS Global Forum, we maintain a focus on providing high-quality content for our attendees. For SAS Global Forum 2011, The Power to Present is a program developed to assist new presenters in improving the quality and content of their papers and presentations.
Program Goals
- Improve overall conference experience by enhancing the quality of presentations and published papers.
- Expand the pool of presenters by encouraging new people to share their knowledge, while still maintaining the quality of presentations and content.
- Increase interaction between new attendees and frequent attendees/presenters, which will improve the overall conference experience for both groups.
Who can participate?
Presenters desiring a mentor
For the 2011 conference, The Power to Present program would be open to all persons who have been accepted to present a paper.
Specific audiences will be encouraged to participate, particularly:
- First-time SAS Global Forum paper and/or poster presenters.
- First-time "non-poster" presenters (whose only previous presentations at SAS Global Forum were posters).
- Students.

- Experienced presenters at regional and special interest users groups.
- "Speaker Sharing"/"Speaker Bureau" speakers from regional users groups.
