As the official welcome to SAS Global Forum 2007, this evening event sets the
stage for the days ahead. You'll hear from Robert C. Fecht, the SAS Global
Forum 2007 Conference Chair, and key members of the SAS executive team,
including Dr. Jim Goodnight, CEO of SAS. And we will present SAS' most
prestigious business intelligence prize, the Enterprise Intelligence Award.
Immediately following the Opening Session, make plans to attend the Get
Acquainted Reception.

Technology Connection**
Tuesday, April 17
8 - 9:15 a.m.
Presenters from SAS Research and Development offer a look at what's new for
the SAS®9 platform. Even those using traditional SAS software for data
management and analysis will benefit from the features highlighted in this
technical session. In addition to demos, we'll review the results of the
year's SASware Ballot and present the 2007 User Feedback Award, SAS' most
prestigious technical award.

Keynote Presentations
SAS Global Forum has invited some exceptional and talented keynote speakers to
share their expertise and knowledge. This year's presenters include Scott

Industry Focus Sessions

Three new focus sessions have been added to the lineup: energy and utilities;
government; and media, entertainment and travel. Industry Focus Sessions will
examine SAS technologies and how they help achieve goals in specific industry

experts. You'll have access to a PC, so you can practice as you learn. These
free workshops are always popular and are offered throughout the conference
beginning on Tuesday morning.

SAS User Appreciation Reception

6 - 7:30 p.m.
SAS serves as your host for this Tuesday evening mixer where we will celebrate
SAS users. Mingle and relax with other conference attendees and enjoy some
great food, drinks and exciting entertainment.
Downtown Disney Pleasure Island
Tuesday, April 17
6:30 - 11:00 p.m. 
Join your fellow conference attendees for a night at
Downtown Disney, which
features three separate amusement areas: Pleasure Island, West Side and
Marketplace. At Marketplace and West Side, you can enjoy shopping, dining and
entertainment with no entry fee. Pleasure Island is an extra-fee event
featuring seven different night clubs.
Tickets are available for pre-purchase
until March 24 for $18.

registration area in the Walt Disney Dolphin Resort during the following dates and times:

NOTE: Children under 18 must be accompanied by a person 21 or older who has an acceptable form of identification. You must be 18 or older to enter Club Motion and Mannequins Dance Palace. Valid photo identification is required. All clubs are non-smoking.
Special shuttles for the Downtown Disney Tuesday night event will be provided roundtrip
from the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort and Disney's Coronado Springs Resort to
Downtown Disney. The designated drop-off and pick-up point at Downtown Disney will be at the
Pleasure Island main entrance.
Shuttle Service to Downtown Disney Pleasure Island
The conference hotels provide shuttle service daily. In addition, SAS Global Forum will be providing the below supplemental shuttle service on Tuesday, April 17:
- First shuttle from Walt Disney Dolphin Resort and Disney's Coronado Springs Resort: 6:30 p.m.
- Last shuttle from Downtown Disney Pleasure Island to each hotel: 11:30 p.m.
Wednesday Lunch and Feature Presentation*

Noon - 1 p.m.
You can say goodbye to new friends and colleagues and begin making plans for
next year. Conference Chair Robert C. Fecht will announce the best contributed
papers and other conference awards. Warren E. Stinson, SAS Global Forum 2008
Chair, will announce plans for SAS Global Forum 2008 in San Antonio.
