- Release 8.1 introduced a set of SAS CALL
routines for configuring and accessing message queues on systems that use
Geneva Message Queuing (GMQ) software from Level 8 Systems. In Release 8.1,
this feature was experimental. In Release 8.2, it is fully supported.
- You can now use the SAS Common Messaging Interface in your SAS
applications to access message queues on systems that are running TIBCO TIB/Rendezvous
message queuing software.
