What's New Highlights
SAS/QC software provides a comprehensive set of tools for statistical quality control and quality improvement. You can use these tools to organize quality improvement efforts, design industrial experiments for product and process improvement, apply Taguchi methods for quality engineering, establish statistical quality control of a process, maintain statistical control and reduce variation, analyze process capability, and develop and evaluate acceptance sampling plans.
Release 8.2 contains numerous new options for improving the graphical plots and charts of the SHEWHART, CAPABILITY and RELIABILITY procedures. In addition, the new LOGSCALE statement in PROC RELIABILITY enables the logarithm of the distribution scale parameter to be modeled as a function of explanatory variables.
