Model Data Library

The model data library contains a list of all the models in a SAS Profitability Management installation. It also stores the rules and rule associations for each individual model. And, it stores pointers to information residing each model's input library. Information residing in a model's input library comprises: the model's dimension tables, behavior table, transaction tables, report hierarchies, and report layouts. The model data library can be instantiated by:

Model Data Library Using SAS Datasets

The following graphic shows a sample data library instantiated by SAS 9.2 data sets.

  1. The name of the model data library is pmmodel.
  2. The folder in the SAS Metadata Library containing information about the model data library is SAS Folders\System\Applications\SAS Profitability Management\Profitability Management 2.1.
  3. Right-clicking on the pmmodel library, you can see from its properties that it is physically located at D:\SAS\Config\Lev1\AppData\SASProfitabilityManagement\pmmodel.
