Add Users

To define Profitability Management users in the SAS Management Console:

1. Log on to the SAS Management Console as an administrator.
2. Select the Foundation repository.
3. Select Environment Management.
4. Right-click User Manager, and select New User.

5. Name the new user, and enter other user information on the General tab.
   
   

   ---

6. Click the Groups tab, and add PM Users to the list of groups that the user is a member of.
   
   Add any other groups to which the user belongs.
   
   
   

   ---

7. Click the Logins tab, and then click New. The New Login Properties window opens.
   • Enter the new user's user ID on the network.
   • Leave the Password field blank (it comes from the network).
   • Leave the Confirm Password field blank (it comes from the network).
   • Select DefaultAuth for the authentication domain.
   
8. You can leave the Authorization tab blank.
9. Click OK.
