Add Users

To define Profitability Management users in the SAS Management Console:

1. Log on to the SAS Management Console as an administrator.
2. Select the Foundation repository.
3. Select Environment Management.
4. Right-click User Manager, and select New User.
5. Name the new user, and enter other user information on the General tab.
6. Click the Groups tab, and select the group to which the user is to be added.
7. Click the Logins tab, and then click New.
8. Enter the new user's user ID on the network. The New Login Properties window opens.
9. Leave the Password field blank (it comes from the network).
10. Leave the Confirm Password field blank (it comes from the network).
11. Select DefaultAuth for the authentication domain.
12. Click OK.

Note: You can leave the Authorization tab blank.
