Define a Summary Report

  1. Activate the Reports workspace, and select a model.
  2. Click New summary report definition....

  3. Name the summary report, and then click Next.


  4. Select the dimensions and levels to be included, and then click Next.

    Note: The fewer dimensions and drill-down levels that you select, the smaller the summary cube will be. Smaller summary cubes have better response time.


  5. Select the measures to include in the report.

    VALUE is included by default. All numeric properties are available.


  6. Click Finish. The new report is added to the list of summary reports.
  7. Select the new report in the list of summary reports, and then click Generate cube.
