Define a Report Hierarchy
The report hierarchy table defines the dimension hierarchy for drilling into a profit and loss report. A model can have multiple report hierarchies.
To define a report hierarchy:
- Select a model.
- Click the Report Layouts tab in the Reports workspace.
- Click New report hierarchy (or select File New Report Hierarchy).
The Add Report Hierarchy window opens.
- Name the hierachy. The name must be unique within a model, but you can use the same name in different models.
- Click Select, and select the table that defines the report hierarchy.
Note: A model can have multiple report hierarchies, but each table can define only one hierarchy.
- Click Finish.
The report hierarchy is added to the model.
