Introduction

IML Studio provides statistical graphics for basic exploratory analysis of data. IML Studio provides graphics for the easy creation of histograms, bar charts, box plots, scatter plots, line plots, contour plots, and rotating three-dimensional scatter plots. Each plot is dynamically linked to the data being displayed, in the sense that any change that you make to the underlying data is automatically reflected in the plots. Similarly, selecting observations in one plot automatically selects those same observations wherever they are displayed: in data tables and in other plots.

You can customize many features of the plots by using context menus and dialog boxes. A context menu is a menu whose items are specific to the object under the mouse pointer at the time the right mouse button is clicked.
