Clusters Tab

You can use the Clusters tab to review cluster and surviving record information. You can also select surviving records and fields. The tab contains the following elements:

Filter - Displays the current filter used for the Clusters table.

Clusters table - Displays the clusters in the selected master data project, based on the current filters. The toolbar contains the following functions:

Surviving record - Displays the currently selected surviving record. Note that you can edit the values in the surviving records field and the changed values are displayed in the appropriate row in the Clusters table. (Changed rows in the Clusters table are marked by a pencil icon next to the row number.) You can also right-click a field to clear its value by setting it to NULL.

Clustered records table - Displays the available records for the currently selected cluster. The toolbar above the Cluster records table contains the following functions:

You can also right-click a record in the table to access the following additional functions:

When you remove a record, its connection to the record cluster is destroyed. No listing is kept of records that were formerly related to record clusters.
