Sequencer (Autonumber) Node

You can add a Sequencer (Autonumber) node to a data job to create a sequence of numbers given a starting number and a specified interval. Because this node establishes a sequence without repeating values, this step can be useful when creating entries for primary key values. Once you have added the node, you can double-click it to open its properties dialog. The properties dialog includes the following elements:

Name - Specifies a name for the node.

Notes - Enables you to open the Notes dialog. You use the dialog to enter optional details or any other relevant information for the node.

Field Name - Specifies a name for the output field that will contain automatically numbered values.

Start Number - Specifies an integer used as the starting number for the sequence.

Interval - Specifies an integer used to set the sequence intervals.
