External Data Provider Options

These default options apply to the External Data Provider data job node.

all external provider jobs in the application and apply to sample data only. The External data provider tab includes the following options:

Rows of data - Specifies the number of rows of sample data to supply per provider. The default is 100.

The Sample data section of the dialog includes the following elements:

Generate pattern data - Specifies whether or not to provide sample generated data to the external data provider. The default is selected.

Override text for string fields - When Generate pattern data is selected, specify the pattern to use.

Load from file - Provides an alternate place to get data.

File - When Load from file is selected, enter the name of the file containing the pattern data to use.
