Server Tier Requirements

SAS Predictive Asset Maintenance Server

Please select a target environment:

SAS Predictive Asset Maintenance Server includes two SAS/ACCESS Engines of choice.

SAS Enterprise Miner, Text Miner, and Model Manager Server

Please select a target environment:

Base SAS and SAS/STAT are required but not included for SAS Enterprise Miner, Text Miner, and Model Manager Server. If the SAS Enterprise Miner, Text Miner, and Model Manager Server is installed on the same machine as SAS Predictive Asset Maintenance Server, then the requirement is met.

SAS Enterprise Miner, Text Miner, and Model Manager Server includes a SAS Text Analytics Language of choice.

SAS Enterprise Case Management Server

Please select a target environment:

SAS Enterprise Case Management Server includes a SAS/ACCESS engine of choice (Oracle, ODBC for Postgres, or MS SQL Server).

SAS Scalable Performance Data Server

SAS Metadata Server

Please select a target environment:
SAS recommends that you deploy SAS Metadata Server on a 64-bit host system. The SAS Metadata Server is multi-threaded and multi-core server hardware (typically quad core or higher) is recommended. A dedicated machine for the SAS Metadata Server is recommended to simplify tuning, management, and diagnostics, but is not required. The disk I/O performance of any server-class system should be sufficient. Memory requirements are highly dependent on the product mix and usage, but 8GB of RAM is sufficient for most large deployments. 4GB of RAM is sufficient for many deployments and should be considered a minimum unless the specific deployment is tested and verified to require less memory.

Middle Tier Requirements

SAS Predictive Asset Maintenance Mid-Tiers

Application Servers

SAS Predictive Asset Maintenance is supported on Linux for x64 and Windows for x64 application servers running JBoss version 5.1 and later.

Client Tier Requirements

SAS Predictive Asset Maintenance Client

Please select a target environment:

SAS Enterprise Miner Personal Client includes a SAS Text Analytics Language of choice. This must be the same choice that you made for SAS Text Miner Server.

JMP Pro

JMP Pro is included with SAS Predictive Asset Maintenance 5.1.

JMP

JMP is included with SAS Predictive Asset Maintenance 5.1.

SAS Model Manager Report Registration Client

Please select a target environment:

Base SAS is required but not included for SAS Model Manager Report Registration Client. If the SAS Enterprise Miner Personal Client is installed on the same machine as SAS Model Manager Report Registration Client, then the requirement is met.

Web Browsers

SAS Predictive Asset Maintenance 5.1 is only supported on the Internet Explorer Web browser. The list of Web browsers that SAS supports is updated as new products are tested and approved.
