Release 6.12 (TS020), Windows NTTM and Windows 95
SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
Operating System
SAS server components of SAS/IntrNet software may be used on any
Release 6.12 installation of the SAS System for Windows NT or Windows 95.
Web server components of SAS/IntrNet software may be used
on Windows NT (version 3.51 or greater) or Windows 95.
Note: All SAS/IntrNet components for Windows 95
are available in beta form only with limited testing.
HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
Machines Supported
Any PC using an Intel or Intel-compatible 80386 33 MHz or higher CPU
is supported. Performance can be improved with a faster 80486 or
Pentium machine.
Note: Windows NT 4.0 and greater does not support running
on a 386 processor.
Media Types Supported
For installing SAS/IntrNet software: CD-ROM, Web download
Hard Disk Requirements
The SAS/IntrNet software package requires about 4 MB.
Less space is required if you are installing only the SAS server
components or only the Web server components.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
SAS/IntrNet software consists of several components that may be
installed or used independently.
SAS Server Components
HTML Formatting Tools
Requires Base SAS software.
Application Server
Requires Base SAS software.
Web Server Components
Application Broker
Requires Base SAS software and Application Server component of SAS/IntrNet
software to be installed on the SAS Server system.
Web Applications
MDDB Report Viewer
Requires Base SAS software, SAS/EIS software, and Application Server
component to be installed on the SAS server system. SAS/GRAPH software
is required to create any graphic output. Requires Application Broker
component to be installed on the Web server system. SAS/MDDB Server
software is required to create the MDDB, although it is not required
on the SAS/IntrNet server system.
