SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
Operating System
No SAS server components of SAS/IntrNet software are currently available
for this platform.
SAS/IntrNet Web server and Client components should run on any Intel ABI+ compliant
system that conforms to the ABI+ for Intel Architecture, Edition 3.0 guide. Should
you find that SAS/IntrNet software will not run on an Intel ABI+ compliant system,
contact the operating system vendor and the SAS Technical Support Division.
Note: SAS/IntrNet software is
available for this platform in beta form only with very limited testing.
HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
Machines Supported
SAS/IntrNet software should run on any Intel ABI+ compliant system that conforms

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
SAS/IntrNet software consists of several components that may be
installed or used independently.
Web Server Components
- htmSQL
Requires Base SAS software, SAS/SHARE software, and SAS/IntrNet software
license (setinit) to be installed on the SAS server system.
- Application Broker
Requires Base SAS software and Application Server component of SAS/IntrNet
software to be installed on the SAS server system.
Client Components
- SAS SQL Library for C
Requires Base SAS software, SAS/SHARE software, and SAS/IntrNet software
license (setinit) to be installed on the SAS server system.
Java Tools
- SAS/SHARE*Net Driver for JDBC
Requires Base SAS software, SAS/SHARE software, and SAS/IntrNet software
license (setinit) to be installed on the SAS server system.
- JConnect
Requires Base SAS software, SAS/IntrNet Server software, and SAS/CONNECT
software to be installed on the SAS server system. SAS/SHARE software
must also be installed if data services are used.
