What's New in SAS 9.2 Publishing Framework

Overview

SAS 9.2 Publishing Framework provides enhancements to security, and support of the HTTPS protocol and IPV6 addresses.

General Enhancements

The following enhancements have been made to the Publishing Framework:

  • Write permission is required for publishing to channels. This enables you to restrict who can publish by administering permissions.

  • The HTTPS protocol and IPV6 addresses are supported when publishing to a WebDAV server.

  • The following Publishing Framework components are obsolete:

    • SAS Publisher

    • SAS Subscription Manager
