Enhanced Role-Based Settings

SAS Web Report Studio ships with three predefined roles – Report Viewing, Report Creation, and Advanced. These roles manage the availability of application features, called capabilities. Your role and the capabilities you can access are defined by your system administrator.

If you migrate from a previous release of SAS Web Report Studio and you need additional capabilities for your role, contact your system administrator.

Enhanced Geographical Map Functionality

If geographical mapping is enabled for a multidimensional data source that is used in a report section, you can insert a map object into the layout of the report. You can now have multiple geographical maps per section, and you can link from a geographical map to another report or to an external URL. In addition, you can also select multiple parameter values to be passed to a linked report.
