SAS Profitability Management :: Planning for Maintenance Releases and Product Upgrades for SAS(R) 9.2

The second maintenance release for SAS 9.2 included the following updates for SAS Profitability Management:

Allows users to save model descriptions and report hierarchy descriptions that contain more than 127 DBCS characters.
For customers using the localized Spanish version of SAS Profitability Management, corrects a problem that generated scripting errors when a new model was created.

If you applied the second maintenance release for SAS 9.2 at your site, then your software has already incorporated these changes, and no additional changes are applied in the third maintenance release for SAS 9.2.

If you are applying a SAS maintenance release for the first time, then these updates are made to SAS Profitability Management, and after applying the third maintenance release for SAS 9.2, no additional steps are required to configure SAS Profitability Management.
