Determining Your Upgrade Path for SAS Data Integration Studio

Use the following table to determine the upgrade path for your site:

4.2 3.4	4.3	Before you upgrade, see Changes to Note Before You Upgrade to SAS Data Integration Studio 4.3. SAS Data Integration Studio 4.3 works with SAS 9.3. When you upgrade to SAS 9.3, you can migrate, or you can create a new deployment. For more information, see the SAS 9.3 Intelligence Platform: Migration Guide (if you are migrating to the new release) or the SAS 9.3 Intelligence Platform: Installation and Configuration Guide (if you are creating a new deployment). After installation and configuration is complete, you must complete the steps in Post-Configuration Steps for SAS Data Integration Studio 4.3.
4.2 3.4	4.4 4.4_M1 4.5 4.6	Before you upgrade, review SAS Data Integration Studio 4.4, Changes to Note Before You Upgrade to SAS Data Integration Studio 4.3, SAS Data Integration Studio 4.4_M1 (if relevant), SAS Data Integration Studio 4.5 (if relevant), and SAS Data Integration Studio 4.6 (if relevant). SAS Data Integration Studio 4.4, 4.5, and 4.6 work with SAS 9.3. When you upgrade to SAS 9.3, you can migrate, or you can create a new deployment. 4.3	4.4 4.4_M1 4.5 4.6	Before you upgrade, review SAS Data Integration Studio 4.4, SAS Data Integration Studio 4.4_M1 (if relevant), SAS Data Integration Studio 4.5 (if relevant), and SAS Data Integration Studio 4.6 (if relevant). SAS Data Integration Studio 4.3, 4.4, 4.5, and 4.6 work with SAS 9.3. When you installed SAS Data Integration Studio 4.3, you upgraded to SAS 9.3. 4.4	4.4_M1 4.5 4.6	Before you upgrade, see SAS Data Integration Studio 4.4_M1, SAS Data Integration Studio 4.5, and SAS Data Integration Studio 4.6 (if relevant). SAS Data Integration Studio 4.4, 4.5, and 4.6 work with SAS 9.3. When you installed SAS Data Integration Studio 4.4, you upgraded to SAS 9.3.
