About This Document
Because of the many enhancements and new features in SAS 9.2, some SAS 9.1.3 programs and applications that you have migrated to SAS 9.2 might need to be modified. This document describes changes between SAS 9.1.3 and SAS 9.2 that affect users who are migrating to SAS 9.2.
This document provides more application-specific details about the post-migration tasks that you are required to perform to ensure that your programs and SAS applications work correctly in SAS 9.2. For example, you cannot pause a metadata repository in SAS 9.2. Therefore, existing programs that use PROC METAOPERATE to pause a repository must be changed to pause the metadata server instead.
This document is different from the What's New in SAS 9.2 document. What's New in SAS 9.2 describes new features and enhancements to products that are available in SAS 9.2. However, Special Considerations for Customers Upgrading to SAS 9.2 describes a subset of changes that affect how promoted or migrated programs and applications will run in the SAS 9.2 environment.
