SAS BI Dashboard

In SAS 9.2, there have been two releases of SAS BI Dashboard. The release that you are upgrading to at your site depends on when you placed your order. Review your Software Order E-mail to determine which release of SAS BI Dashboard is in your order. Then review the topic for the 4.2 or 4.3 release.

SAS BI Dashboard 4.2

The Manage Dashboards link that appeared in the SAS BI Dashboard portlet does not appear. Although a customer can configure the Manage Dashboards link to appear, it is hidden by default.

The preferred method to start the SAS BI Dashboard is to create an application in the SAS Information Delivery Portal. The current logon information from the portal is provided to the SAS BI Dashboard. Therefore, the SAS BI Dashboard appears immediately, without the need to log on. Specify the URL as shown in this example: http://localhost:8080/SASBIDashboard.

SAS BI Dashboard 4.3

SAS BI Dashboard 4.3 has been rewritten to use the latest software technologies. Before you upgrade to SAS BI Dashboard 4.3, review the following resources:
