The basic edition of
SAS Studio supports only Linux operating environments. Unlike the
enterprise edition, installing the basic edition does not require
a deployment plan. However, before you can install the SAS Studio
Basic edition, you must complete several prerequisite steps, such
as selecting the directory for SASHome and the SAS Software Depot.
