Use this dialog box
to enter the SAP application server host name and system number to
use to connect to the SAP system when you select the Application
Server connection type in the Connection
Properties window.
The dialog box contains
these items.
Application Server Host
lets you specify the
IP address or host name of the machine where the SAP application server
is running. For example, if the SAP application server is running
on a machine with the name hs0311
, enter
that name in this field.
Note: If a router is associated
with the SAP application server host, you must enter the router string
before the SAP application server name. For example, if the router
string is /H/sapgate1/S/3297/H
and the application
server is hs0311
, you must enter /H/sapgate1/S/3297/H/hs0311
.
System Number
lets you specify the
two-byte code that identifies the SAP system on the host machine.
This number specifies the SAP system that you want to access when
more than one SAP system resides on the same host. For example, the
system number might be 01
or 05
