The navigation tree
is displayed in the
SAP
BW Browser page. It provides a hierarchical tree view
of the InfoAreas, ODS objects, and InfoCubes for which you have extracted
metadata. MultiCubes and remote cubes are not included in the navigation
tree. Each InfoArea can consist of one or more ODS objects and InfoCubes.
However, some InfoAreas can be empty. InfoCubes consist of a group
of related tables. Each ODS object consists of one table.
You can expand and collapse
the InfoAreas as needed to browse through the data sources that are
included in the navigation tree. You can select and right-click a
data source in the navigation tree to display these options to view
more information about the selected data source.
When you select one
of these display options, a dialog box shows more information about
the selected object.
