lets you specify whether
you want to use change data capture (CDC) processing in the extraction
process. Use CDC processing to extract only the data that has changed
since your last extraction. Select this check box if you want to use
CDC processing.
lets you select the
date that is associated with the master tables and text tables that
you want to use from the InfoCube. The default date is today's date.
You can either enter a different date using the MMMDDYYYY format or
you can click the button to the right of the field to select a date
from a calendar. In SAP BW, master tables and text tables might be
time-dependent. The date that you specify is the date that is associated
with the master table and text tables that are extracted from the
SAP BW system.
identifies the name
and location of the BW star library. This
is the library where you want to store SAS data sets that contain
SAP BW data. SAP BW data is extracted from the specified InfoCube.
When the InfoCube data is extracted, it is converted from a snowflake
schema to a star schema. When the conversion process completes, a
fact table, dimension tables, and a star schema view are saved in
the data sets in this library.
identifies the name
of the library where the data that is extracted from the specified
InfoCube data is saved as SAS data sets.
identifies the complete
path of the directory that is associated with the BW star
library.
Use Browse to specify a metadata folder location to store table and job metadata
created by this extraction operation.
