To
specify the properties for a map viewer:

On
the menu bar for the viewer, click
Properties.

On
the
Map tab of the Properties dialog box,
specify the following options:
specifies
the size of the map viewer. Select Small, Medium, Large, or Custom. The default value
is Medium.
If you select
Custom, specify the
Width and
Height in pixels.
specifies
the method that is used to divide the data into value ranges. Select
one of the following values:
selects
value ranges at equally spaced intervals. For example, if your values
are {1, 3, 8, 9} and the map uses three value ranges,
the values are divided into the following ranges: {1–3, 4–6,
7–9}.
selects
value ranges by using an algorithm to find natural value groupings
in your data.
For example,
if your values are {1, 2, 5, 5, 6, 10, 11} and the map uses three
value ranges, the values are divided into the following ranges: {1–2,
5–6, 10–11}.
selects
value ranges that contain equal numbers of values.
For example,
if your values are {1, 3, 9, 11, 11, 12} and the map uses two value
ranges, the values are divided into the following ranges: {1–9,
11–12}.
selects
value ranges that contain equal numbers of values.
For example,
if your values are {1, 3, 9, 11, 11, 12} and the map uses two value
ranges, the values are divided into the following ranges: {1–9,
11–12}.
The default
value is
Equivalent intervals.
specifies
the number of value ranges that the data is divided into.
specifies
the color for regions of the map that are selected for filtering.
Click the drop-down list to open the color palette, and then select
a color. Click Automatic from
the color palette to restore the default color.

On
the
Layer tab, select the layers from the
ESRI data that you want to display. Note that some layers are displayed
only when you zoom in by a specific amount.

On
the
Data Crossing tab, select the data that
you want to display in the map:

Select
the
Measure that you want to use.

In the
Dimensions pane, select one member from each
hierarchy level.

Click
to add the selected members to the
Selected pane.
The
Show crossing information check box specifies whether
the current data crossing is displayed in the map viewer.

When
you have finished specifying the properties, click
OK to return to the main SAS Web OLAP Viewer page.
