Numeric (Simple) Operators

-x
returns a value with the opposite sign of the input value.
For example, --1 returns 1 and -1 returns -1.
x - y
subtracts the second value from the first value.
For example, 2 – 1 returns 1.
x * y
multiplies the first and second values together.
For example, 2 * 3 returns 6.
x / y
divides the first value by the second value.
For example, 6 / 2 returns 3.
x + y
adds the first and second values together.
For example, 1 + 2 returns 3.
