General Enhancements to SAS Visual Analytics
The enhancements to
importing data include the ability to do the following:

Import data from Google Analytics.

Import data from Facebook.

Import data from a MapR database.

Import multiple DBMS tables at
the same time.

Import a local file as a ZIP file.
SAS Visual Analytics Explorer
General Enhancements for SAS Visual Analytics Explorer
Enhanced features in
SAS Visual Analytics Explorer include:

A new
Outliers property for
box plot visualizations enables you to control the appearance of
outlier points and exclude
outliers from the plot.
SAS Visual Statistics
The features of SAS
Visual Statistics have been integrated into the explorer user interface.
If SAS Visual Statistics is licensed at your site, then the following
features are available:

A
linear regression visualization, which creates predictive models for measure variables.

Model comparison, which compares
two or more predictive models.
-
You can create
interaction effects, which are used when the contribution of one variable to a model changes as another
variable changes.
General Enhancements for SAS Visual Statistics
You can now
derive predicted values for predictive models. This feature creates two variables from the predictive models
that contain prediction information. These variables can be used in other visualizations.
SAS Visual Analytics Designer
New and enhanced features
in SAS Visual Analytics Designer include:

A new default
report theme, SAS Snow, has been added. Existing reports can be manually changed to the new report
theme by using the
Styles tab.

You can export an image of a report
object.
-
New options (for example, adding
page numbers) are available for printing to PDF.
-
You can attach a PDF of a report
to an e-mail message.
-
When you add e-mail addresses to
the
To line in the
E-mail window, the designer now provides suggestions as you type. (A user’s e-mail address
must be stored in
metadata for this feature to work.)

Parameterized URLs can be used
for reports.
-

The Data tab has a new option that enables you to hide all data items that are not used in
the current report.
-
A new Show Selected
at Top option is available on the Data tab
for basic filters.
-
The Data tab
has a new Delete Filter option when you are
editing individual filters. It also has a new Show Selected
at Top option for basic filters.

A
Remove All Data Items menu item is now available for
crosstabs and list tables.
-
Text in the Location field
on the Report Properties window is now selectable,
which makes it easier for you to share the location of your report
with other users.
