When you create a data
preparation job, you can preview the data from the
Source
Table page and the
Data Output page.
If you click the
Preview Data button, a window
appears that shows the first 25 rows of data. When the button is clicked
from the
Data Output page, all of the data
preparation steps are performed (for example, joining tables, filtering
rows, and so on) before the data is displayed.
After the window appears,
you can increase the preview row limit, up to 1000, and then click
Preview to
see more rows. You can also click a column heading to sort the previewed
data in ascending or descending order. Be aware that this sorts the
data that has already been fetched and is already visible. Sorting
in the
Preview Data window does not fetch
the data again in the sorted order.
The
Preview
Data window also does not apply user-defined formats
when displaying data.
