For the SAS LASR Analytic
Server Monitor process to be able to show the tables that are in-memory
on a server instance, network name resolution might need to be modified
on the machine that runs the SAS Visual Analytics middle-tier machine.
For deployments that use SAS High-Performance Deployment of Hadoop as a
co-located data provider, the middle-tier machine typically has network name resolution without additional
modification. However, if the machines in the cluster use multiple network interfaces,
then make sure that network name resolution works. For
/etc/hosts on
the SAS middle-tier machine, make sure that your machine names resolve.
