The GLIMMIX Procedure |
EFFECT Statement (Experimental) |
The experimental EFFECT statement enables you to construct special collections of columns for or matrices in your model. These collections are referred to as constructed effects to distinguish them from the usual model effects formed from continuous or classification variables.
For details about the syntax of the EFFECT statement and how columns of constructed effects are computed, see the section EFFECT Statement of Chapter 19, Shared Concepts and Topics. For specific details concerning the use of the EFFECT statement with the GLIMMIX procedure, see the section Notes on the EFFECT Statement.
