You can use the PARTIAL statement to base the canonical analysis on partial correlations. The variables in the PARTIAL statement are partialed out of the VAR and WITH variables. If you request an OUT= or OUTSTAT= data set, the residual variables are named by prefixing the characters R_ by default or the string specified in the RPREFIX= option to the VAR variables.
