With one exception, which is described in the GRIDMODE= option section of the PERFORMANCE statement documentation in Chapter 3: Shared Concepts and Topics, you no longer need to specify the GRIDMODE= option in the PERFORMANCE statement or set the GRIDMODE environment variable. Any values that you specify are ignored.
