This chapter describes
the Scalable Performance Data Server SQL access library API (Application
Programming Interface) and provides some simple examples. This chapter
refers to the Scalable Performance Data Server SQL access library
as SPQL. Read this chapter if you want a library that provides a
C-language compatible interface to write user applications to access
an SPD Server SQL server. Because the library was designed for multi-threaded
applications, the code is thread safe.
