SPD Server gives good
performance when run using default configuration settings. To realize
the full benefits of SPD Server's design and capabilities, you must
configure some of the software's options to modify the default behaviors.
The configuration changes will depend on the computing environment,
table size and complexity, and indexing structures.
You use SAS macro variables
that are specific to SPD Server and SAS statement options (LIBNAME
options and table options) to configure SPD Server for optimum performance.
