SAS Scalable Performance
Data (SPD) Server supports some of the more commonly used SAS format
and informats. Use these in your SQL Pass-Through code when you want
SAS Scalable Performance Data (SPD) Server to associate a data set
variable with a specific format.
A general reminder about
formats: A format is applied to data set variables as it is written
out. Informats are applied as the data set variable is being read.
