Erlang

The Erlang distribution is a special case of the gamma distribution. The density function of the Erlang distribution is

Parameters:

$\text{[math]}$	is a real number > 0.
$\text{[math]}$	is an integer $\text{[math]}$ 1.

If $\text{[math]}$ are independent exponential random variables with mean $\text{[math]}$ , then $\text{[math]}$ has the $\text{[math]}$ -Erlang distribution.
