What's New in Data Security Technologies in SAS 9.2

Here are the new and enhanced features for Data Security Technologies in SAS:

• AES data encryption algorithm

• Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) support for the z/OS operating environment

• Secure Shell (SSH) support for the z/OS operating environment

• two new system options for z/OS and UNIX: SSLPKCS12LOC= and SSLPKCS12PASS=

• The AES data encryption algorithm is new to SAS/SECURE and SSL.

• This release introduces support for SSL under the z/OS operating environment. Examples are provided for SAS/CONNECT and SAS/SHARE.

• This release introduces support for SSH under the z/OS operating environment.

• New system options introduced in this release are SSLPKCS12LOC= and SSLPKCS12PASS=.
