Deploying and Scheduling SAS Marketing Automation Jobs

When you have completed the appropriate setup tasks, SAS Marketing Automation users can submit jobs for scheduling. The procedure is as follows:
  1. In Customer Intelligence Studio, specify the start date, end date, and recurrence of a campaign or communication.
  2. In the Checklist pane for the campaign, click Execute to open the Execute window.
  3. In the Execute window, select a campaign or communication and select an execution option.
  4. If you have the required authorization and you selected Send to the scheduling software, the campaign or communication is scheduled using the information provided in the campaign. If you do not have the required authority, an administrator uses the Schedule Manager to schedule the job.
  5. If you selected Send to the scheduling software, a job is created for the campaign or communication. After the job is deployed for scheduling, an administrator can use the Schedule Manager to define dependencies and submit the job for scheduling.
