Before you can create application metadata in a SAS Metadata Repository,
you must create metadata that defines at least one SAS Metadata Repository.
The SAS Open Metadata Interface can be used to create a SAS Metadata Repository,
but this is not the recommended way in SAS 9.2. Instead, if you perform a
SAS 9.2 planned installation to set up your SAS 9.2 Metadata Server, the SAS
Deployment Wizard creates the first repository -- a foundation repository --
for you. We recommend that you create additional repositories with SAS Management
Console because it creates default metadata in the repositories for you.
