SAS Management Console provides a single point of access and control to perform the administrative tasks required to create and maintain an integrated SAS environment across multiple platforms. SAS Management Console utilizes a plug-in architecture that is specific to your SAS installation and environment. With SAS Management Console you can perform the following tasks:

manage the metadata for your SAS data and environment
maintain library and server definitions
create, manage and maintain authorization information for your users and groups
administer resource access control templates
