Defining the SAS OLAP Environment

SAS Libraries

A SAS library is a collection of one or more files that are referenced and stored as a unit. For SAS OLAP, libraries serve as organization containers for the data tables that you use to create SAS OLAP cubes. You can have numerous libraries to organize your data tables with. To define your libraries, you can use the New Library wizard in SAS OLAP Cube Studio or in SAS Management Console. For more information on defining and managing libraries, see SAS Libraries and Tables and "Assigning Libraries" in the SAS Intelligence Platform: Data Administration Guide.
