The
following typographical conventions are used for all text in this
document except for syntax:
bold
identifies
an item in the SAS Model Manager window or a menu item.
italics
identifies
a book title or a value that is supplied by the user.
UPPERCASE
identifies
a SAS language element, such as the SAS statements KEEP or DROP.
The following
typographical conventions are used in syntax:
bold
identifies
the name of a macro.
italic
identifies
an argument that must be supplied by the user.
< >
identifies
an optional macro argument.
| (vertical bar)
indicates
that you can choose one value from a group. Values that are separated
by the vertical bar are mutually exclusive.
UPPERCASE
indicates
a keyword that can be used as a value for an argument.
