To upgrade from SAS
Micro Analytic Service 1.2 to 1.3, you must migrate the modules that
are loaded in the system. This requires first backing up a source
system and then restoring that backup to a destination system. Because
the modules are held in GemFire persistence, GemFire backup and restore
procedures are used.
The GemFire persistence
folder for a SAS Micro Analytic Service system is found in SAS-Configuration-Directory/LevN/Web/WebAppServer/SASServer13_n/logs,
where LevN is the SAS configuration
level directory, and 13_n denotes
the application server processes. This is where GemFire holds files
that contain an image of the GemFire shared cache.
