You enable the SAS logging
facility for SAS servers, by specifying the LOGCONFIGLOC= system option
when SAS starts. The LOGCONFIGLOC= system option names the location
of the logging configuration file.
You can add the LOGCONFIGLOC=
system option to either the SAS configuration file or to the SAS command
that you use to start SAS. If you perform a planned deployment, then
the SAS Deployment Wizard includes this system option in the configuration
for your SAS servers.
This system option can
be set only when SAS starts and not during a SAS session. For more
information, see
LOGCONFIGLOC= System Option.
