At times, you may want to edit your data, transform or recode a variable, or use a subset of the data. These capabilities are available from SAS/LAB software's main window.
To use a subset of your data, choose 'Select observations...' from the Locals pull-down menu on the main window.
To edit your data, select 'View data' from the main window's File pull-down menu. To create, transform, or recode variables, select 'Modify' from the File pull-down menu.
